Even if you can spend the charging time in a building, activating the charging station and plugging in the cable leaves you pretty wet and annoyed and wondering why there is no roof. Regardless of which fast charger is to be used, whether with or without battery storage – a solution can be found for every combination in the flexible modular system. We have also developed a system that makes it easy to install and remove the charging stations under the roof at a later date using a forklift, without having to remove roof elements or similar (which, incidentally, would be much easier with our roof system than with the PV laminates often used today, which are sealed together with silicone)
In addition, distribution cabinets can be easily integrated into the columns.

The energy generated on the solar carport is hardly sufficient for a fast-charging park to refuel the vehicles purely with the power of the sun, but the additional energy supply – ideally coupled with a storage system – can at least make a contribution to the power supply.

Our products are designed to be as open as possible – in other words, you can flexibly combine the carports with inverters and storage systems of your choice. A huge advantage if you want to operate all locations with the same (energy management) system.
We are flexible when it comes to the height of the vehicles to be parked. Thanks to the integrated slope compensation, we also ensure uniform clearance over the entire length.
We only build cantilevered structures so that parking is always easy. In addition, the number of columns at VOLTWING is low due to the maximum 10.4m span between the columns. However, if something should happen, all our columns are able to cope with vehicle impacts.

Your customers will love it. They start and finish the charging process in the dry. They can walk around under the carport in the rain and don’t have to stay in the car. Depending on the floor plan configuration, seating can also be integrated.
In summer, the car charges in the shade and you don’t have to run the air conditioning, which in turn would extend the charging time (even if it’s more about seconds than minutes of charging time – it just feels wrong if the car uses electricity for the air conditioning while charging).
