PV mounting system VOLTRAIL
PV installations on carports or other roofs are becoming more and more common because it simply makes sense to use these areas twice for the energy transition.
Meiser Solar Solutions is now making its specially developed and proven VOLTRAIL mounting system for framed PV modules available as a separate product for other carport constructions.
The innovative longitudinal rail system with integrated drainage chambers, which is currently being patented, scores points for its few components, simple and quick installation by sliding it into place, maximum flexibility and stability, and durability without high maintenance costs.
Simple, elegant and low-maintenance – the VOLTRAIL system
The VOLTRAIL system is a simple modular system that enables the installation of framed PV modules on different substructures.
The advantages of the VOLTRAIL system

Installation without fall protection
All work, including module assembly, can be carried out from a cherry picker. This eliminates all height safety measures on the construction site. The result is a massive reduction in risk and significant time savings.

Quick and easy installation
Quick and easy installation thanks to:
- Simple insertion of the modules
- Pre-commissioned kits
- Elimination of liquid sealants and other substances that are dependent on certain ambient conditions

Closed roof surface
An additional EPDM tape at the cross joints prevents seeds and pollen from entering the cross gutters with the rainwater and sprouting there. However, the rain protection of the roof system is also provided without the EPDM strips.

Bifacial glass-glass modules
For the roof covering, we rely on the use of glass-glass modules. In addition to the impressive appearance, the PV modules generate an additional yield thanks to the bifacial design and can also be installed quickly and without additional fall protection – saving time and money!

Compliance with legal requirements
Due to the high demands on module statics, we only use modules that can meet all legal requirements in structural glass construction:
- Austria: ÖNORM B3716
- Germany: DIN 18008

Suitable for extreme loads
Due to the linear bearing acting on the pressure and suction side, the maximum permissible module load can be utilized.

Concealed cable routing
The cable routing is almost completely concealed. However, the critical interfaces remain freely accessible and offer a continuous control option. This type of installation also significantly reduces the time-consuming and tedious cabling work.

Earthing
The modules are earthed via earthing terminals during module installation. The cables are routed inside the rails.

Maximum flexibility of the substructure
Regardless of whether your substructure is made of wood, steel or aluminum – the VOLTRAIL system gives you complete creative freedom in the choice of materials.
