Foundation variants for the MEISER Solar mounting systems
Secure anchorage of the module substructures in the ground is a crucial factor for the durability and safety of PV plants. The anchorage type used is selected in accordance with the ground conditions. Flexible foundation variants allow for installations in fields and meadows, on contaminated and sealed surfaces as well as in hilly desert landscapes, moist soils, and coastal areas.
In a standard setting the foundations are created using pile-driven foundations. Steel posts are pile-driven into the ground to create the PV system foundation. For this, we use our production expertise as one of the world's largest producers of guardrail systems. Significantly larger areas of contact with the surrounding ground material ensure maximum resistance to pressure loads and extraction forces as well as lateral thrust and bending loads, i.e. loads acting in a transverse direction to the post’s axis. Modern roll forming technology makes this kind of customised design shaping possible.
For long-term, reliable corrosion protection, the posts are individually batch galvanised using a special coating for Soil Class III. The zinc layer is determined for each project. Increased zinc loss in coastal areas or acid soils is easily offset by a thicker zinc layer. This allows us to guarantee a long service life and corrosion resistance for your plant.
Securely anchored with pile-driven foundation, concrete foundation, screw foundation or gabion foundation
It doesn't matter where you want to build your solar project: the secure anchoring of the module tables in the ground is a key factor for the longevity and safety of the PV system. The anchor type used is selected based on the soil conditions.
Secure anchoring for all soil conditions
Our flexible foundation variants allow you to set up your PV systems in fields and meadows, on contaminated and sealed surfaces or on hilly desert landscapes, on damp soil and at coastlines.
The standard foundations are made with pile-driven posts. Steel profiles driven into the ground form the foundations of the PV system. To do this, we use our production competence as one of the world's leading producers of safety barrier systems.
Larger contact surfaces with the surrounding ground material on all sides guarantee maximum resistance against pressure loads and withdrawal forces as well as lateral shearing and bending loads acting transverse to the post axis. Modern roll forming technology allows this custom shape.
Premium corrosion protection thanks to individual galvanization and finish by hand
The posts are galvanized individually and finished by hand to give them long-lasting, reliable corrosion protection. The thickness and properties of the zinc layer are determined on a project-specific basis for optimum cost-efficiency. A special coating is used in order to meet the needs of increased zinc abrasion, e.g. in coastal areas or in highly acidic soil (soil class III).
This allows us to guarantee a long lifespan and corrosion resistance for your system: MEISER Solar offers a guarantee of up to 40 years for all our own mounting systems.
